1981 LeTour?
I have recently purchased a 25" LeTour frame.
It was advertised as a 24" but If I new better I would have asked about the serial number.
Anyway I am unsure what year it is because the number on the left rear dropout doesn't tell me anything.
The number/letters are (and the first letter I am not sure of) IA11720. On the headbadge the number is 0191.
Here https://re-cycle.com/History/Schwinn/SwnB_Serial.aspx is the link that I found to help with the number, but I can't figure it out.
I need a better ID so that I can build this bike to resemble the original.
Thank in advance

Serial number would not given you the size anyway.
0191 = 19th day of 1981. There are on line catalogs out there, just look up the 1981 model. That bike came with average to mediocre parts, so use the opportunity to upgrade if you plan to keep it (came with steel seat post and steel rims for example).

According to the headbadge number (019 1) that bike was built on Monday January 19th, 1981. The frame number dates to Jan. '81 as well (A1). Here's the catalog page:

I do have some newer letour components or I wouldn't have bought the frame.
I would like to find a Huret rear Derailer though .
I have a set of Rigid steel wheels on Normandy QR hubs.
Thanks for the info.
