Raleigh pioneer
Someone gave me a Raleigh Pioneer men's bike and I am trying to find out how old it is. I looked on Sheldon Brown's web site but didn't see a serial number like the one on my bike. It is RA1 00827 if that helps anyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...Greg

Hello Greg Welcome to the forums. Can you post some pics? or/and tell us more about the bike? What brand model are the components like derailleurs, brakes, cranks?
This one looks like '90ish Hybrid, https://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/ra...ry-item-full-2

Date it by using component date codes. Its easier than finding catalogs. See vintage Trek site for details.
