Raleigh Super Course, what year/size?
I saw this on CL, but the seller doesn't list the year, and I don't think Raleigh made a 65 Super Course, only a 63??
The frame, 531 or 555?? What year?

That's a proprietary Raleigh tubing sticker, so its not Reynolds 531. Raleigh had their own grades during that time frame, and had a sticker that was a knockoff of the Reynolds sticker IMO. Not sure about that year, but Raleigh earlier had a 25 1/2 inch Super Course (that was Raleigh 531).
Condition appears mediocre to me. Pass.

I think was during the Super Course's downhill slide. Seems like a decent Sport bike under the grime but I am not sure I would plunk down $250 for it.

I believe it's an '83 like this one: https://oldtenspeedgallery.com/owner-...-super-course/

It's a 1983. I think you're right about the size, 63cm was the largest at that time. I had one of these pass through my hands. They're nice riding bikes, a little more relaxed compared to your '85 Grand Prix, or Competition. These came with with 27 x 1 wheels, tire options are limited.
