Late '80s Cannondale road bike with Sante groupset, breakup or keep intact?

Late '80s Cannondale road bike with Sante groupset, breakup or keep intact?
I have a small Cannondale road bike frame with a Sante groupset. Has the Sante hubs/cassette aced to some rims (woblers?), front/rear derailleur, brake handles/hoods, shifters, and skewers. I don't ride the bike at all, just don't care for it much. Should I break it apart and sell the entire groupset on its own and then just rebuild the rest of the bike with misc stuff like 105 or whatever I have laying around and then sell it?

I would break it up. My experience is that most people I've sold to don't sweat the components on their bikes. A bike like that in my area would sell for $250-$300 no matter if it was sante or not.

Now another question, should I break down the wheels so the group is still complete but minus the Wolber rims which do have that typical hard anodized wearing on the brake tracks? The rims are okay, usable but not the prettiest. I just wonder if someone who is wanting the Sante groupset would care about the rims themselves? I would just rebuild the rims on some typical 105 hubs or something.

Keep in mind on a group like Sante, condition is everything. A road rashed Sante group looks really bad, and will sell for a lot less than one in good shape.
To maximize your return (and your time/effort of course...) I would sell the frame/fork, the group minus the rims, and maybe the rims if you don't want them. Leaving the stem/bars/seatpost with or without the frame/fork is up to you.

My groupset isn't perfect but the rear derailluer in particular doesn't have any road rash. The other parts are fine as well. The hoods are intact but dirty. Not sure the best way to clean them.
