91 Schwin World sport value?

Can someone let me know if this is a decent price?

https://mansfield.craigslist.org/bik/3859181300.html

I am new to the biking world. Would this be a decent starter bike?

Thanks

The price for the bike is decent not great. If every thing works fine and it is the right size this should be an OK buy. If you decide to by bring cash in exact change for 120-150 in 5/10 incroments and offer 120 and see if the seller will negociate.

Mid Ohio? Should be $80-$95.

OP, I flip bikes in the Columbus market, about an hour south from you. The World Sport was a nice bike by the late 80s/early 90s, but around 150 is what I'd ask for that bike after a full overhaul, and Columbus is certainly a much hotter market than Mansfield. If you can get that bike for closer to 100-120, it'd be a better deal. If you're able to make it down to my area I can set you up with something a bit nicer than that for around the same price.

Ended up getting the bike for $125. Hope it is worth it. Wish I would have seen your response (PatTheSlat) prior to purchasing. May contact you in the future if I decide to upgrade.
