Bought a Chesini at a garage sale.. anyone have some input?

I stopped at a garage sale and stumbled upon this bike. I've never heard of Chesini, so I called my friend who lives and breathes bikes. He said it was a good deal at $250, so I went ahead and picked it up. The wheels are tubular, tied and soldered. All components are Campy. So, any thoughts? Input? Anyone have one? Thanks.

Also, does anyone know what model this is?

Boy, that bike appear to have a high bottom bracket, built for 45° banking for sure. As a value, yes I think you did well. Anywhere close to your size?

Yea I noticed that when I brought it home. It's a tad too tall for me, so it'll probably be a project bike. Repaint maybe? I do this in my spare time https://www.flickr.com/zooie

I do not think it is a repaint. The alle tubing transfer would be upgraded to a version that one would confuse with SL.
On a bike this size alle tubing is note really a big minus for those who know.

I would not repaint it either.

Personally, I would take the parts off, sell the frame set and buy a track bike that fit you better. Having a track bike is a good thing. Your cost of entry will never be lower.

I agree, I would not paint this either. You do very good work, but I still feel bad for that poor Tempo! I would've left the paint alone on that one.
