70's Peugeot. Help.

This is listed simply as a "70's (likely around '74, as far as I can tell) Peugeot road bike frame."
Can someone help me identify the model, it's weight, and how much it's worth?

Seventies UO8. Bare frame probably weighs in at around eight pounds or so. Decent riders, not worth a lot-- that one is missing a key part, the french thread bottom bracket, as well as all the obvious missing parts. 25$ tops, and I am thinking less is more realistic-- it appears the braze ons have been hacked off at some point.

Edit: you may want to honestly assess your mechanical abilities. I'm guessing you want a fixed gear from your prior post. However, working on old French bikes requires a modicum of specialized knowledge. You can easily attain said knowledge, but it will take some time. Building an old UO from the ground up will require some more time. To turn the pictured bike into a working fixed gear (or even a working bike) is also going to take some cash-- once again, you're headed into bikes direct pricing territory. Figure about a hundred for wheels, another hundred for the bottom bracket (which you will likely have to special order) and crank... there are work arounds to these, but again, require knowledge. Assess yours.

Not realy worth much about $50-60 to the right buyer and half of the price would be for the parts. To make this into a working bike as said would cost more than it would be worth as a whole bike. You can buy a nice basic SS/FG steel framed bike for $250 new and a vintage UO8 complete working in real nice condition for $175-200. This one would cost $150-200 to build up into a actual bike.

Do I see pedals anywhere near that bike? Missing these could be a real deal breakers as they are somewhat hard to find at a reasonable price. Missing them, you end up shooting for a $50 French BB, new crank and modern pedals. Or trying to tap the old French cranks.
