1970's Windsor International w/ orange bands.. rare?
So I know rare doesn't mean value.. I'm just struggling to find the history and information on this bike. So far I think I've discovered they were made in Mexico, but that I'm not positive on? I'm going to look over the bike in a bit more closely. I wonder if there is any way to pinpoint exact year of manufacture?
1970's Windsor International Black w/gold graphics 32" standover
55cm Aluminum frame/paint/graphics in excellent condition w/original alloy components
Suntour VX Rear derailler
Suntour Spirt front derailler
Suntour Power Shifter mounted on a Gran Compe alloy stem
Sugino alloy crank- Sunshine hub rear with 27"alloy rims(trued) w/Quick releases
Not sure if I paid too much or too little @$250, not too worried at this point as it seems to be in great shape and rides nicely.

I would guess this bike is not from the '70 but 10 or 20 years newer.

I'm fairly sure it's from the 70's, a few people who have looked at it in person commented on the joints on the tubing where it is stylized instead of just a strait edge joint. I still have not found any more information, unfortunately.

As wek101 says, check the component codes to determine vintage. You will have fun doing it and be a bit wiser, once having done so.
