Austro Daimler Vent Noir ?
I have an original 70's AD Vent Noir I am hoping to place a value on. Bike is in great condition, mostly original with early blacked out Dura Ace components. Orig tires would need replacing but seat is good and paint and decals are almost perfect.
A few pics,
A few pics,

Really like it! This bike has one thing going against it - it's sort of on the border of using Craigslist/eBay as far as value. I think EBay sales value is around 550-600, but it's in really good shape and is a desirable size; I think it could sell as high as 750ish. Subtract fees.

Where are you located? As Aaron noted, you would likely need to sell on Ebay to maximize value. But, if you're in a hot market, you might be able to get a decent price on CL. Or, you could try this:

Thanks, I am in eastern Iowa and most likely would put it on the Chicago Craigs List. I am not a fan of Ebay any more so rather not go through that venue.

Still learning
If you get to Chicago before the end of the year, offer free delivery with a non-refundable deposit. I did that on an ebay sale delivering a bike from Michigan to Albany NY, although I got paid in full via paypal. The buyer waited patiently for about 6 weeks.

WV is not flat..
Almost the twin to my bike. It is in much better shape, but it is interesting to see what these guys feel you can get for it. I was just wondering the same thing because there is a swap meet coming in Feb. in Md. and I was considering taking mine. Though swap meet customers will beat the heck out of you on prices. I have the decal set on order. I think you should keep it because it matches your guitar.

"$750-850 or higher for a nice original example. Do you have the pedals?"
I don't have the original pedals but if someone knows what they should be maybe I can try to locate some. The bike is mostly original, bought from the org owner. It was his wife's bike and saw very few miles in it's life. I have more pics if anyone wants them.
I might keep it but really looking for a Paramount or other high end vintage 10 speed.

Here are a couple of pics of the pedals on mine. As far as I know they are original (excuse the dirt, I haven't detailed those yet). All they say is Mikashima Unique Road and Made in Japan. Here is a link for a great reference site for AD's also.
