Nishiki vintage road bike-worth asking price?

Hi, I'm a total bike noob to be honest. But I want to buy a bike to commute to school (about four miles) to not have to deal with my car on the daily. This bike is the one I'm most interested in. Is it worth $240? Is there anything I should ask the seller? Help? https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/4329577167.html

Are you about 6'2" or taller? That's a big bike!

Congrats! If you are a (and I quote :-)) "total bike noob" - get it to the shop or handy friend to give it thorough check over

Four miles is nothing for nice road bicycle. You did good. I hope you have enough cash left over to get a helmet. Not wearing a helmet and drinking and bicycling are both big killers for cyclists.

A decent score, and not a bad price. Looks pretty clean and tight. I have seen less nice Nishikis selling for more.

Get a decent lock too! They all can be compromised, but you need to buy one strong enough to make it easier to steal someone else's bike first.
