Old Bianchi Road Bike... Is it worth it?
I love the shape of this bike and want to fix it up a little to function as a commuter. Seller is asking $178, is that a bit high? No derailleur or shifters.

I appreciate any insight on this as my budget is small for this project.
Thanks!

A poorly done conversion for sure. I'd say its more like a $50-$70 given tha need for reconditioning, shifters, derailleurs and the like.
Plus, its likely an illusion, but the fork just above the chrome looks to be slightly bent.

incazzare.
I'd say more like $100, but there is no way the seller will let it go for that. He thinks he "improved" it.

I know I am a bit late but that is either an '88 or '89 depending on the shipmano group and it does not have Columbus tubing it was built in the orient.
The MSRP was around $475 so unless it is pristine 350 is too high
OH I see I got my tabs mixed up!! I was looking at a different Bianchi!! I agree I would pass on that Mixte
