Vintage Raleigh Grand Prix

Very Interested in a Raleigh Grand Prix on Cl for about $175. Owner said it has some issues, but I'm interested in using it for rec.

Broken rear spoke at that age I'd rebuild the rear wheel. Will need new tires, total overhaul. I think 100 is fair considering unless you can do the work yourself it's a good 100 more work needed

I have a soft spot for the Raliegh made in Nottingham Grand Prix and this one is a very nice example of a early 70'S but with steel components and issues I would go $120 or so. I have sold the nicer late 70's with full alloy branded components and nice alloy wheels with good ruber for only $200

You're in a seller's market, so $150 IMHO is okay. A 1 spoke fix is about $10. Check for trueness of the whole wheel. If it wobbles, then you can hammer the price down.

Definitely like my Raleighs...but this seems a bit high...understand that you are in a hot market...but I would say somewhere around $125 is a more realistic price, particularly with the broken spoke...and, if the spoke is from the drive side, I think it would be a bit more than $10 to get it fixed (unless you do it yourself)...at least at my LBS, it would be more.
