1984 Trek 620 Touring- reference point

Needing a full overhaul and all new consumables, this 57 cm, 22.5" just closed on ebay at $340, plus $60 for shipping.

The little brother, a 49cm, 19" closed yesterday at $255, plus $60 for shipping.

I did a local pickup on an ebay Trek and saved the $100 shipping cost, so probably the best way to weigh shipping into valuation is a 50-50 probability. Out of 3 bikes that I can recall buying on ebay, only one from Chicago was shipped, as part of best offer negotiation. Usually the sellers are relieved because they don't need to disassemble and pack it up.
