Fangio

Could anyone help to provide me with some info and a value if possible for a bike that I have recently aquired. All I can find out is that it is a Fangio, which appears to have been a Belgium team in the 70's/80's (apparently Bradley Wiggins Dad rode for them). It is in reasonable condition and is a 59 cm frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see the photos attached.

There is a lot going on there. Does the sticker on the down tube say "Dura-ace ex"? Simplex mechs and shifters but 600 crank? Mafac levers? Do the brake calipers have a name on them? Is there any markings on the headset?

It is definitely a nice frame probably early 80s and being a French bike I would understand the components except the crank but then the dura ace sticker...

Agree, mishmash of parts. Value mainly in frame. Sticker says Columbus, but not specific from what I can tell. What is seatpost diameter?

Hi

To answer your questions;

The sticker on the down tube does say Dura Ace.

The brake calipers have 'Galli' on them.

The headset is Campagnolo.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Carl

Might indicate that it is a nice tubeset then. Others more up to speed on Columbus can confirm.
