value of vintage bianchi project 5?
I just picked up this bianchi project 5.
Probkem is that i have no idea what it is worth?
Bicycle blue book says $225 even in fair condition.
Is that even remotely true? What might the vale of this be in a hot market?

Nice find. Are you into mountain bikes? It might be a keeper after you ride it, if it fits. Unfortunately as most anyone here will tell you used MTBs don't get much respect on the used market, and ones that look like hybrids even less.
The MSRP for this '91 model was $770ish and it was the first year for the Project 5, the Project 7 having debuted in '90 with the beginning of the 700c mountain bike idea. I have a '93 Project 3 and love it but I was never a super aggressive rider and tended to steer around larger trees and other obstacles (even on my HK-II) but it was faster than any of my other MTBS because of the larger wheel. They also makes a great commuters!
