1985 Panasonic Sport-LX woman's bike Quality bike?
Super clean. Appears all original. Lugged Co mo frame. 27X 1/1/4 Arraya alloy wheels. 12 speed. Tires say Panasonc and have zero wear. This bike has very little riding time and obvisously has been stored inside. Zero rust on frame. Paint and decals nearly perfect. Cable housings braided steel. The bolts look like they never seen a wrench. Shimano componets. Frame fit's. Seller asking $90. Good deal?

Ready to ride panasonic under 100 is a decent deal, even though this would be low end in the lineup. Only caveat is you say womens, I assume the mixte? If so these generally sell cheaper than mens model but if you are buying to keep and ride, offer 60-80 and enjoy the ride.

Yes it's a mixte. I'm trying to get my wife into road bike riding rather than just putsing aound the block riding on a Kmart special. She likes our tandem, but she wants nothing to do with street riding. She fears the cars.

Without photos, it's hard to give a meaningful appraisal, same as buying/selling a vehicle. If it's only $90, where is the risk?

could be, could be but to OP one sold on ebay in Feb for 72, looks good and one got bid to 51 but NR.....so I would go 60-80 and enjoy. And nice tandem!
Sorry, but in any metropolitan market, a low end mixte can command $50-$100 or more than the same diamond frame model. For example, a refurbished Peugeot UO-8s go for $150 or less, while I can sell the mixte version for $250-$275.

everybody knows shipping is cost of business + NR fail at 51 was a few weeks ago. Mixte are tough sells except for hipster hoods where oversized unicyles have become all the rage anyhow (+ mutton chops)!
