    Miyata 1000 and 710

    Hi all,
I need to downsize the herd and would like some pricing advice. The Miyata 1000 is a frame only, no fork and is in good condition, no dents, but a few scratches. It is an 86 with triple butted tubing. It has the original rear brake as well. Any idea what I should ask and where? I can ship but would prefer local Craiglist . Here in Michigan prices seem lower than other areas, Craigslist wise. The 710 is really nice with upgraded wheels, seat, and Cinelli bar and stem. Down tube friction shifting. I think it is an 85. Any suggestions area appreciated. Both are 22"if that matters.
    Thamks,
    Tom

Photos will help give a realistic assessment. Easiest is a link to a remote hosting folder. You can pay a few bucks for a membership and list them on this site, but we're a thrifty bunch.

I've bought more than a few ebay bikes in SE Michigan, NNJ, Albany NY, PA, and VT to save on shipping and handling.

    Here are a few pictures.

The 1000 is worse than I remember. Some large scrapes on headtube and rust spots on the chainstay.
    Thanks

Appears the 710 is Suntour ARX equipped. IMHO, if it has fresh grease all around and ready to ride, high $200's for a local sale in A2 or metro Detroit, less elsewhere in Michigan.

+1 on the saddle change out suggested by @thinktubes.

EDIT: I agree with Thrifty Bill below, frame with no fork has minimal value.

    Hi guys,
Fork was severely bent when I got the frame. The legs and the steerer tube are bent the same way like someone ws trying to bend it to increase rake. Thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it.
