HELP! Ward Hawthorne Bicycle 30's? 40's? Price? What is it? How much is it?

I have recently acquired a bike that I believe to be a 1930's-40's Ward Hawthorne bicycle. The only number's I could find on it were a Patent # 2080677 on the bottom of the "tank" portion, and also maybe a serial number of "D52670". I'm looking for someone knowledgeable on this topic to help me identify the bike correctly, and come up with a price range of what it may be valued at. ANY help would be much appreciated! Hope these pictures show enough! THANKS!

I could not get the pictures to upload for some reason, so please visit the bicycle forum I linked below, I put this same add on. it has lots of good pictures! THANKS!!

Redirects to another forum don't work for a lot of folks. Google posting pictures www.bikeforums.net

And not a lot of tank bike/baloon tire/cruiser vintage activity here either.

My quess would be the bike is actually early 1950's. The Wards Hawthorns where basically cheaper copies of the better bikes of the day made under contract by various makers. As for price I see a lot of similar bike's on the market priced in the $300-500 range not selling.
