No chrome socks at the stays, so a nice looking Peugeot Prestige. All catalogs on line.
Catalogs
I missed the Reynolds sticker first time through. Nice! If there is a paper tag on the left chainstay it will have the model name and frame size.

This bike is a beaut with Reynolds tubing and high end french gear (crank, derailleurs, brakes). This looks like a PY 10. The prestige peugeots were custom or hand made, 1974 Peugeot PY10
This is a fine bike and looks to be in very good shape as the rust will clean up. The name on the bike could be the original owner and/or a racer. What do you know about the bike? If you don't mind sharing, how did you obtain it?
Here is some info on Bjorn Bilstad, https://ronnydeschepper.com/2014/10/0...seth-wordt-55/

...they were mostly custom orders, sort of a customer specific PX-10. They show up with all sorts of odd bling upgrades.

sathaporn-
It looks like a PY 10. This is the top of the line Peugeot from the 70s. It was produced in the Prestige workshop along with the Peugeot team's racing bikes such as those for Bernard Thevenet. It would have been either a team bike or a custom design for one specific customer. The braze on brake pivots also help identify it as a Prestige shop product. All the equipment looks stock and period correct except the rear derailleur. That should be a Simplex LJ 5500. This bike is a great example of an ultimate, Classic Peugeot. If you haven't grabbed it, do so as these are very rare and highly desirable. Check here for further Peugeot related details.

Thank you for your advice, your comments on the rear derailleur is right it is just Simplex SX 410 something not the SLJ 5500.

Further FYI, the original owner I do not know. I presume the engraved name on the bike was the original owner or ever rode it. The second one bought it in Paris and he sold it to get a new bike. That's how it ends up with me now.

Miamijim,
$550 is the asking price. Considering the location and the odd and taking intoconsideration shipping cost from us to here, the price may be reasonable, I guess. What is your opinion.
Also, i tested ride it, it's straight.

If you do buy it be sure to treat the rusty spots and then clear coat over the spots with nail polish.

I'd buy it for $550, even here in the US.
Yes, check and treat all rust, including inside the tubes. I gather that can bd an issue in Thailand.
As for the fork - ignore me, I'm seeing things I guess (and I'd buy it regardless!). But is it a French thing? My Peugeot PSV fork also has that subtle reverse bend.

I'm glad I found this thread! Yesterday I took a Peugeot Prestige over to The Bicycle Stand in Long Beach so one of the mechanics could remove parts for his Peugeot. I've had it stuck away in the garage for a year and assumed it was just another PX-10. My Google search found this thread and I immediately put a hold on any parts removal. It's my size so I may end up keeping it for awhile. I'll post some pics when I retrieve it this week end. My first impression upon buying it last year was that someone had taken a PX-10 frame and slapped on various French components: Now I realize it's a nicer frame that may have been custom ordered. Stay tuned.

When I see "$550" or "$575" it's said's the $50 and $75 is the negotiation portion of the price.Or, you can offer $450 and up.
