Cannondale
Does anyone know anything about this Cannondale T1000? It is near mint and offered for $500.00. I offered $300 and hope to take the bicycle, with me, to Jamaica for the winter. My question is twofold...
Is is a good bicycle? And, three hundred dollars fair?

Nice bikes and they have quite a following. That one has extras like racks and fenders. $500 would be fair, $300 a great deal, IMO.

Still learning
If I were the seller, I would tell you good luck finding a $300 touring rig and bid you good day.
I have sold a Cannondale Hybrid H300 for $349 and a Cannondale Criterium for $400 this summer. My notes say I sold a Cannondale T400 for $450 in 2012.
You are looking at a loaded top of the line Cannondale touring rig. Hopefully, you can use the above comps as a reference and make a deal.

Thanks for the information. The bike is very nice, eight speeds, Bar end shifters and, as noted, lots of accessories (none of which are of interest to me, though). I offered the fellow three, knowing that the bicycle will not sell until next Spring, at the very earliest. In Thunder Bay, very few people are at all interested in bicycles, once the cold weather arrives and, my pipes at my cottage froze up three days ago. It isn't even cold yet but it gets brutal, sometimes. Froze my butt to the out house seat one day (funny story that NEEDED to be on tape!)
Anyway, with luck the $300 will get the job done, for me, and the bike and I will head out, for five months, in a week's time.
