Masi Team 3v Eddie Borysewicz frameset

I've come across this frameset online and was wondering if you could help me with a value? It's in perfect condition and built for Eddie Borysewicz, the USA national coach at the Subaru/Montgomery team. Has the serial number EB1. Apparently built in June 1990.

Are we in a 0-1000$, 1000-2000 or above range here? I hope you can help

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

If it really is what the listing says it is we're talking over 2K. Problem is that Eddie B was a coach when this was built so I would question why a track bike would have been built for him. Not saying it was not, but it is interesting that if it is what it says, why does it have non-top-of-the-line parts (Miche) on it instead of Campagnolo and why are the tubes seemingly not oversized? Post some close-up pics of the parts and the lug work so we can see if it really is a Masi 3V or a re-labeled pretender. Thanks!

Thank you very much for the response! I've just recieved some photos! Apparently the bike is listed here on this page:
Masi Registry USA - (where you can find it by searching for "EB1)
It's sister bike is this one: 1990 Masi 3V Pista / Tre Volumetrica - Pedal Room

As for the weird parts i assume it's because the guy couldn't afford campagnolo...

Campagnolo was going through a big funk in the early 90's so having Mavic on there is no big deal. In fact, one might argue Mavic has more value. In your original post you ask the value of the frameset... I say $0-1000 for the frameset and $1500+ for the complete bike.

As mentioned earlier it possibly belonging to EB adds about $5 to the price.

A check of the registry referenced reveals this is a Team Montgomery bike - Eddie was the coach but it was built for the team.
Volumetricas are a "love 'em or hate 'em" frame, thus MJ's pricing - and agree with him. IF I loved them, $750-1K. Mavic track parts are rarer than Campy and have a cult following so at least 500 for them alone.

Looks too tall to be Eddie B's personal bike --- but a very cool bike
