Repainted vintage mtb
I replied to this ad after I got home to work and of course there were people in front of me for it, but I'm still curious about what it might be. Certain years of Stumpjumpers had fastback seat stays like that, right?

I'm almost positive its a miyata ridge runner. not a repaint but with decals removed. unless they repainted with a matching blue.

That was a sweet deal for $30. The shifters are worth that alone. Not sure what it was, but it was a good one.

while it may look cool on the street, and in some cases help deter theft, this is the huge problem with removing decals. Also I am sure good bike thieves look at the decal less bikes first and check out the components.

That's kind of the thing I think about when I see the glut of ugly, all-black commuter bikes. Are they fooling anyone? Is matte black an invisibility cloak?
