Ask $225, settle for $200. Not a big following for Centurion up north. You need higher resolution photos.
Not the same bike or condition, but another somewhat obscure Japanese brand in these parts, a 62cm Lotus Excelle, clean condition, just sold by an Ypsilanti flipper at about $100-$110, marked down from $150.

I think 175-200$ is reasonable considering parts and condition. The market for this level of vintage road bike is down quit a bit recently in most markets.

Around here, less. Value of parts exceed value of the bike. Relatively low end frame with desirable high end parts. When I rehab bikes like this, they reappear with stem shifters and middle of the road RDs. Most recreational buyers would prefer stem shifters over those valuable bar ends, and would under appreciate the Cyclone G1 RD. Ditto the Avocet saddle.

I agree. The only detraction is paint condition but with the dark color the chips and nicks are not ugly at all. I think I'll stick a new chain on it and list it for 200.00. It's a classic 10-speed with 27" Araya wheels. Quality stuff.

Got my Centurion for free, at least the frame & fork; every thing else had been stripped. It lay by the roadside
for several days on one of my routes. It had been painted over a couple of times, but when stripped to the original,
it turned out to be an '83 Le Mans 12. As I had a big tub of vintage parts, I was able to completely rebuild it with
many parts that would have been original. The paint is very funky, but it's light, quick, & free.

If it's properly equipped with Tange Champion tubing then, I could get $250 for that in Atlanta.

Centurions must have been much more popular down South than up in Michigan. Check out the Atlanta Craigslist for these bikes & you will see prices from $175 - $375. Elite was a mid level Centurion. Equipped with Tange frame & decent component parts. It's a very respectable bike.

Offer too low. RD + bar cons alone exceed that value. Hence my earlier advice to part it out, or do some selective swaps.
I had a very similar NIshiki. Around here, bar cons are a huge negative. So I put an ARX derailleur set on it and stem shifters, and sold it. Cyclone generation 1 derailleur set and bar end shifters went to that dreaded auction site.
When selling a recreational level ride ($125 to $225 price range in my area +/-), nice parts get no extra and in the case of bar cons, can actually get you LESS.
I sold a 1984 Trek 520 last year, buyer told me the only thing she didn't like were the bar end shifters (up to that point, when building up a touring bike, I always upgraded to bar end shifters). Recreational riders just don't like them. Any more, I save stem shifters from donors, to be reused later. DT shifters are none too popular either.....
Your market may be different.

If you can get it to me, I can surely double that amount for you in SE Michigan or A2.
