Raleigh supercourse 1980s?
Hello all!
Let me start by saying I'm new to cycling, I was searching for my first bike on a local resale website. I didn't want to spend to much money on my first bike and then I came across this one for a really good price. After doing some research I think I got a good deal. What do you guys think it's worth?
How do ya'll feel about restoration on this bike?
Or should I ride it for a little while and sell it?
The bike big for me. I haven't rode it yet I'm waiting on some pedals to come in the mail, I'm about 5'6" when I get on the bike I have to stand on my toes the clear the top bar.

Still learning
Well that appears to be a 58cm, and you need a 52 cm frame. I would clean it, lube it, and sell it. You can do alright with a full rehab, but you need a fair number of specialty tools and know how.
As presented, that is a $40 bike as is.

Looks like some rust issues with the bike. The Super Course was a nice bike, especially this Era of Raleigh.
I think $150, even with some condition problems.
Should be a great riding bike. Squirt it down with some WD-40 to get the cables and derailleurs loosened up and working well.

incazzare.
I think the bike needs a lotta love right now. I'd put it as worth around $100 or so as is. Fixed up, probably twice that.
