Does anyone know if this Giant Rincon is worth anything?
When I moved into my place a few years ago, I found a bike frame in the attic over the garage. I'd like it to have a good home. I have no idea if it is worth anything. It is labeled as a Giant Rincon, but I can find no information about this on the Giant site. It doesn't even look like anything pictured in their archives area.
Does the attached pic look familiar to anyone?
Thanks a bunch?

Without wheels, value is minimal. I've had a few Rincons, nothing special. Don't look at the Giant site, go to bikepedia.
If you are resourceful, with wheels, ready to ride, maybe $125. Realize you don't just have the cost of wheels, you need tubes, tires, skewers, rear cassette.
Sell as is here, $25, $50 max. Only someone resourceful with a pile of parts can rebuilt it without losing money.
Or find a bike co-op, donate it and get a tax receipt.

Missing wheels = kills value. And there isn't much value in a step-through Rincon to begin with. Figure $25-40 as a parts bike.

Worth something? Yes it is. Could make someone a nice campus bike or commuter. If you don't want to fix it up, donate it to a local bike program.

Or find a used set of 26" mountain bike rims/tires and you have a bike for a family member or guest under 5'7".

Too bad the wheels are missing, it looks like a nice run about.

Sell the rack and seat on their own - worth $30-50 collectively.

Thanks a bunch for all the input! Didn't cost me anything, I'm not that motivated to spend money on it. I think donating it is a good move.

I have a couple of sets of mountain bike wheels laying around without homes. If you were within driving distance, I've give you $25 for it, and slap together a loaner bike that guests could use.
It's a low end bike (in good condition) that missing it's wheels, and as other people have already mentioned, not worth putting a lot of money into, but certainly worth restoring if the parts are just sitting around.

if this rincon frame is still around...
I dont know about the "step throughs as I have a standard frame, but I'd measure it first, mine is built for 29 inch rims ( I'm 6'7") so there may be more value in the frame due to utility in its size than it's being given credit. (I didnt see this thread in the past as I just became a member minutes prior to this post)
