2230 grams of carbon....
Just found out that my washed up horse of a bike that needs some TLC is about 2230 grams naked...
Making it just under 5 pounds. Its sturdy enough for the modern overhaul. Was planning on a new HollowTechII drivetrain with CXP 33's laced with105's, new carbon fork whilst keeping it quill for the classic look.
Its fun as a daily driver. But I'm looking for an all arounder. Which would actually mean I need a cross frame. But at 2230 is this entering heavy weight?? For carbon...
Thanks

Isn't five pounds heavy for CF? I thought CDales were like 3.0 and 2.8 pounds?
