New and Need Help

Hey all I am new to the forum and was in need of a little help...
I am trying to get a more vintage bike that I can fix up and make a commuter bike. I came across this trek for 160 dollars. It says it has shimano 600 components. The problem is I don't know year or model or anything. Here is a link to the post. Was wondering if this bike is any good/worth it/general thoughts. Thanks all!

Since its been repainted I cannot tel if its a Trek or not. Price seems a bit high for a repaint but thats so market specific its hard to say. the first concern is does it fit you. Also, its tight clearance would not be good if you want fenders, racks or fatter tires for you commute.

If I did want a rack on it is there a way to make it fit or is it just not going to happen?

This listing has been deleted, so I can't see what the listed bike looks like. But most bikes can be fitted with a rack even if there are no dropout eyelets or seat stay braze-ons.

Seat stays on Treks have the Trek name cast or stamped on them. Makes for easy identification of a Trek bike even when it has been repainted.
