AMF Junior Balance bike

I bought this bike today but really cant find out anything about it and what it may be worth. Was AMF ahead of its time in a strider bike?

Any info would be appreciated

Worth nothing, but priceless if you have a use for it (family member).
So this is a two-wheel tricycle?

Exactly, trike parts used to make an inexpensive 1st "bike".
With the configuration of pedals attached to the front wheel it's one of the worst designs for teaching how to ride a bike, virtually inoperable w/o training wheels firmly down.
If you have a child try to find a Schwinn Pixie of the same vintage, the classic machine to teach balance and fixed gear pedaling skills.

So this isn't a factory made bike it was someone using parts to put together this? It looks to me the design to be meant to be a two wheel bike. I'm sure it had training wheels on it at one time. What year do you think it is?

It is most definitely an AMF product sans training wheels, probably 40 or so years old.
