INFO ON A 70's FUJI S10-S w/25" FRAME? AGE? VALUE?
I've been watching this bike at a local pawn shop for 2-3 weeks. At first they were asking $150, but when it didn't sell I was able to bu it for $80 - tax included! I love old Fuji's and this one is the nicest yet. It's in beautiful condition & the chrome on the frame part holding the dropouts front & back are an added touch.
An interesting point - it is a TALL bike with a 25" frame; is that a normal size (I've never seen one before)? - The back down tubes behind the seat (2nd photo) look like a Daddy Long Legs or giant Grasshopper ready to jump!
I think it's a 1977 because the serial number is: 77A04363 - am I right?
It has Suntour all around with Suntour VX derailleurs, but I don't think the handlebars are stock. Any idea what's it worth?

You paid about FMV IMHO, maybe a bit below because it is very clean, but a 25" frame is a bit of a challenge to market. You can find them for $40-$60 frequently, but they need work at that price.

Yeah, 63cm/25"/64cm was a really common frame size in the late 70s thru early 90s. Basically, it was common before sloping top tubes.
It's what I ride, so I am always on the look out and they are all over, though less often than 56 or 58cm, for the obvious reason of common height.
When you sell it, at least buy some top tube cable guides. If they can be SunTour, perfect since that would be period correct and matching components. But really any cable guides will be better than zip ties.

as always its market driven- in these parts it would be $150+ but any working bike is 100+

Non-original things include: handlebars and brake levers, original shifters would have been SunTour power shifters clamped on the downtube (not on the stem), and missing is the lovely Fujita Belt saddle. $80 is about right for that bike.

Sweet Fuji! Nice snag. That's a very popular bike. Many think that Fuji was better than the Italian bikes they imitated. Too bad so sad they only sell for about 1/2 or 1/3 of what an equivalent Italian bike would go for. The good news. You won't have any problem selling it. Plenty of people are looking for one. 1977 was final year for 5v gear block. they went to 6v for 1978.
