Help id Trek 820.
This was my step dad's bike. He passed away about 5 years ago. It has all Shimano Exage components which look massive. I tried the vintage Trek site, and think it might be a 1987? Sorry about the bad photos. I only had a few minutes to dig it out, look at it and put it back. Any info or value estimate would be great. It seems to be in good shape other than rust on the bottom of the chain stay.
TIA

I fixed up an 87 diamondback apex with a chainstays brake.
No idea what year this bike is, I am terrible with trek and their 400 differently numbered bikes, just figured rolling the year back a few to include 87 might help since you mentioned that originally.

Still learning
The 87 catalog does not show a model 820, thus a 1988. Although first year, not particularly collectible, as it is on the lower end ofmthe Trek model range. IMHO, $135 , +/- 10%. Unless you ae space constrained, keep it for posterity.
