1980 Mercier Lugano
Any idea on value?
SuperVitus 971 frame. 12 speed.
Original Shimano 600EX Arabesque group.
Mavic Module E2 wheels.
Bike was recently overhauled and appears to be in very good condition.

Need pics for a worthwhile appraisal.
Also, we have moved this thread from C&V to C&V Appraisals.

That's a quality bike. The parts, the wheels, and the frame are all very solid. Plus the paint job is in good shape. Concur with $300; NYC prices tend to be higher.

I bought it from a former club rider southeast of Paris, it was an ŕ la carte build by cycles J. Bertrand in Cesson - a Mercier dealer. The Zeus fork is original to this particular bike.
I'm the 2nd owner.
(Wading into the grey area of the forum guidelines...) I posed it on f8*cking eBay, bin/bo, the other day. That number you guys are throwing around works for me.

600 Arabesque is the original group. The Lugano was Mercier's entry-level in their competition line at the time.
