Condor bike? Is it worth 120USD?
Greetings, I am planing to buy my first road bike and i found a bike that i really like it. My budget is around 500 USD but this bike costs 120usd and im thinking to go for it. I couldn`t find it on the internet, i have no information on it and the only thing i know it`s that is called Condor and is equipped with campagnolo except the brakes that are shimano. Also the front wheel is a Shimano R500.
I really don't know what should I do. I am planing to make trips that are 50-100km long and i really don't want any troubles Also could I upgrade it in the future with modern Shimano groupset? Also if someone recognize the model please let me know.

If that Condor is the right size for you, buy it. You can upgrade anything you like, but it probably won't be necessary.

Take that in a heartbeat. For USD120 you can't go wrong, it's a complete bike with Campy bits all over it!

+1. That's an exceptional deal. Condor is a well respected British brand. Personally, I question the need to upgrade, given that the components are modern enough to include brifters and dual pivot brakes. I'd just ride the bike as is, for the rest of the year, then make the decision in the autumn, when people are more willing to deal on the prices of new components.

Make sure everything shifts smoothly as it is (I.E. All matching parts, or parts that work well together).
Yes, you could "modernize", but it can get quite expensive for marginal gains, as you could be replacing almost everything other than the frame.
Buy that bike to ride as-is, then keep your eyes open if you should find something else in your price range with 10s or 11s shifting. But, I'd put a few miles on that bike first.

Sorry for posting in the wrong section. I went to see the bike and the seller was a gipsy in a white van with french plate numbers and he told me that he bought the bike from uk) I was pretty sure it was a stolen one and i passed even if he wanted to sell it for 100 USD. Thanx for all the help.

To bad on the bike likely being stolen it did seem kinda odd that someone was selling a $500-600 bike with a miss matched front wheel for $150 and willing to take $100.

Looking up on BikeIndex, there is only one Condor listed as stolen (in the USA), and it is a new version, not a vintage bike.
https://bikeindex.org/bikes?utf8=%E2...proximity=true
Call your local police department to see if they have any reports.
Oh, you're not in the USA? Are there local stolen bike registries?
