Fair value of mid-80's Colnago Super
This is a 51cm mid-80's Colnago, probably a Super, equipped with Super Record. These are the only photos I have but will try and obtain a full drive side shot. trying to work out a fair price with the owner - would appreciate you thoughts.

Those pics suggest a bike in very good condition. Assuming the rest of the bike, wheels, hubs, post, etc are Record, SR in similar condition, I'd think US $1000-$1200 is fair. If I were selling it I might try to get $1400 or 1500 on eBay.
I'm not sure if the non-fluted cranks add more value. Others can comment.

Next to Last version cranks, last had laser etched logos, Some interest. Worth more if 165's.
Small, small bikes go cheap.
It is not all Super Record, it is what we called back then, Super Record Reduced.
Steel pedal shafts and most likely a Record bottom bracket, all steel.
Nothing to sneeze at, racers preferred this set up.
$1,000-1,100. Condition of wheels, true and equal spoke tension, happiness.
Check the consumables, too.

Most likely a Superissimo not a Super. I had one just like it (in larger size). SLX frame. Probably 84??? Mine had first gen C-Record with Cobalto brakes. Sold it for $1300 about 7 years ago.
