1978 P10-9 Paramount value?

Hi folks - looking for help valuing 54cm, excellent shape, Weinmenn carrera instead of campy nr, otherwise all campy. Seller asking 1000. Can see before purchasing. Cinelli unicantor. Thoughts? Thanks, Mike

Asking ebay pricing on cl? He may get it. Very clean and shiney! Test ride....Your size for a keeper/seems reasonable. Just my humble opine

Yes, my size and thinking as a keeper. And yes, ebay pricing on clist. Does look very clean. Might be able to talk him out of 100 he would pay to list on cl. I'll start at 8 if it's a ride I like. Thanks

Paramounts are like the Fender Stratocaster of the bike world. Condition is everything. $1000 is considered a reasonable starting point. It all boils down to how good it looks & how bad do you want it.

If the condition is as good, and it fits, $1000 isn't unreasonable in a decent market. I do wonder about the braze-on shifter mounts; '78 catalog photos show bolt-on mounting from the photos I've seen.
