Trek 1220 for $200? (what's that black stick?)
Hi all-
I'm looking at a Trek 1220 with Shimano RSX brifter setup for $200 in a competitive market. Would that be a good price? I'm also puzzled by the black stick below the main frame horizontal bar. Do you know what that might be?
Thanks!

The black "stick" below the top tube is a frame pump.
I don't trust any Seller who would advertise/claim that a 5'9" rider is going to fit that bike. You need at least a 35" inseam to swing your leg over than bike (or a step ladder). The Average 5'9" rider has a 30" or 31" inseam.
But the price is reasonable if the bike is in good condition, more than reasonable, if the bike fits.
You need to go try test riding that bike if you have the legs to fit it. But don't go without grabbing someone to take with you who knows bikes, because you obviously don't.
