Peugeot bicycle - info needed

Hello,
Would any of you be familiar with this Peugeot? I am looking for any info--age, model #, possible value?
I don't have anything more than these pictures at the moment.
It has wheel fenders and a chain guard.
Thank you for any help you can offer.
Cate

Cate, that is a relatively low end Peugeot three-speed from around 1982. The Carbolite 103 decal on the down tube indicates that the bike was made using Peugeot's proprietary steel alloy tubes. More expensive bikes would use Reynolds or Vitus steel, but that is not to say the Carbolite is bad. I have a similar Peugeot from 1984 and it is quite pleasant to ride.

The one thing I wonder is whether the wheels are steel or aluminum. If they are steel, they should be replaced IMO.

The bike would not be worth a lot. Perhaps 75-150 depending on your local market, assuming it has aluminum wheels.

Thank you Aubergine! I greatly appreciate the info.
Is there a way to find the model #?

I believe the mixte equivelant is an AE-18, so probably a UE-18.
In 2015, I bought the AE-18 for $75, cleaned and refurbished with new consumables and resold for $275.

If that diamond frame is pristine, $150-$180 IMHO. Mixtes, particularly Peugeot, sell at a premium to the mens models and to other equivalent mixtes.

Can't be an 18, because it is a three-speed. Let me go look for a catalog to see if I can find it.

Look here: Cycles Rétro-Peugeot for catalogs. Unfortunately I cannot see a similar three speed model in any of the catalogs there, so I can't find a model number. But maybe you will have better luck.
