Before I purchased a 1974 Raleigh International on Ebay, I came across a bike shop just south of Hartford, CT that was advertising 2 NIB Raleigh Internationals. Bear in mind that this was 2 years ago, but I believe that they wanted between $1500 and $2000 for each one. After almost 40 years in the box, there most likely will be some corrosion and fading of chrome, etc., besides new tires, new grease for the bearings, etc. I also would love to see pictures of them when they are removed from the box. Hard to believe that someone would leave some bikes in the box for that long. As a business owner you want to rotate and move your inventory, not sit on it . Your plan for appreciation could backfire due to tremendous tech innovations in the future.

The fellow with the boxed Internationals who posted several years ago was just fishing. He's in the CT bike business.
This is part of his sig, if you look deep enough.

And he's been recently active (logged in) FWIW.
