Value of a Sturmey Archer AW Hub.
I have a 55' AW 3 speed Hub which is laced to a Dunlop rim. Any ideas on what the value is?
Also a 69' TCW III? Just the hub.
Thanks!

The 55 dated one only has value if you are restoring a 1955 bike. Around here AWs sell for $5 to $25. How many spoke holes do the have? SA made millions of the AWs. Roger

Ditto! Great hub, great that it's still around and functioning. But it's real value is being mated to a vintage bike - alone it's just a "old" three speed hub.

Well i intend on keeping it incase i find a nice 3 speed to mate it to. The tcw i don't really care too much about, although its in superb condition. I can't recall the number of spoke holes, but it has the normal amount for the 3 speeds. But for only 25 bucks in value it'd be dumb to get rid of it. Only reason i bought the bike was for it, as the bike was in rather poor shape.
lol, i didn't know there was one, but i do now thanks!
