1980's near new Bianchi Campione D'Italia
I'm thinking about purchasing a 1980's Bianchi Campione D'Italia, but would like to get a ballpark value on it before meeting the seller, here's the info I know on it:
- The seller claims it to be 100% stock, and sitting in a garage for 2 decades, other than minor scratches it appears to be in fantastic condition.
- Columbus Bianchi SF2 steel tubing
- "A mix of Campagnolo, Ofmega, ITM, Ambrosio, Stronglight, Selle Italia, Miche etc... components"
Heres a few pics, can anyone give me a ballpark value?

That looks like a fine Bianchi. It's great that time capsule bikes like these still pop up for us, but they will only get rarer as each year goes by. "Bianchi girl" (BF's resident Bianchi expert) should chime in very soon and give you her expert opinion on that bike.
BTW, that frame looks very big, maybe at least a 62cm size. Make sure it will fit you. Remember, it's easier to make things work out if you go a little bit small than going too big with bike frames.

Good eye! It is a 62cm frame, but I'm 6'4" so it should be perfect. I currently ride a 62cm so I know it'll fit just right

Looks very nice. Realize of course that "sitting in a garage for 20 years" means the cables are likely shot and all the bearings should definitely be repacked with fresh grease or they will be ruined when you start riding the thing again. Factor the cost of that into your price, whether you do the work yourself vs. paying a shop to it. It would be a shame to ruin the hubs and BB on that bike.
Value? I can't see the components in detail and I'm not familiar with this particular model but no less than $300 in that shape with the celeste saddle and all.

I have had a couple of Bianchis with pretty much the same specs go through my hands. Sold since they were not my size. The ones I sold were totally reconditioned and ready to ride so listen to Fast Jake as far as what work it will need. I would bring that up when talking price with the seller.
Celeste Bianchis are a pretty thing so if it speaks to you and you want it don't hesitate.
