I'm not really a Stingray guy but this poor thing was buried under a pile of junk and I just had to save it....................it has some light surface rust on the chrome bits, couple of missing spokes on the rear and the RD doesnt shift. Any input on "as is" or "parted out" value would be greatly appreciated.

There is a forum in the internets that deals with those muscle bikes and there is a lot of buying selling of them going on there (cannot remember which one it is - is it the schwinn forum? someone will know for sure) and that probably is the place that you would realize the best value for this. I've seen some of these trying to sell in CL at $200-2000 and trying is the operational word. There is a little auction place by me that sells quite a few of these and the prices seem to be around $50-75. Methinks you really need to find the right market for this

Cool, looks like it lost its cheater slick in the back. These never really caught on way back, thank the krate bikes and the narrow tires made off-roading a no go.

Something is up with the chain and rear mechanism, maybe the chain is frozen? shortened too much at some point?
