Free Spirit 10-speed...?
Hi there,
Have done a bit of research on Free Spirits but don't know how to assess the quality of a bike I'm thinking of buying. I have read that the quality of this bike varies quite a bit depending on what year it was made. Can anyone provide some insights about what this bike is worth or what decade it is from?
Am very unknowledgeable and have a lot to learn still.. appreciate the help! Thanks!

Very few Free Spirits have quality, 99% do not. This is one of the 99%. Basic department store bike. When in doubt, avoid department store bikes unless your budget is extremely limited.

Thanks for the reply. The budget is pretty limited...! But I guess that you would advise this bike is not worth paying much for.
I'll keep looking, thanks!

Its all a matter of how limited. If you can get it for $10 to $20, it might be worth it as a basic recreational rider.
