Raleigh Professional

Yes. Is it worth it? Not to me, but maybe someone really wants one.
Seller is probably being a touch optimistic with his price based on the condition. @ the OP, What do you think it is worth? |
If it was decently cleaned and serviced it would be a good deal.

i don't know a lot about pricing Raleigh's. it seems totally original, and the full Campy Nuovo Record everything is a big plus, but it all seems kinda tired. if that was an Italian frame in top form, i'd think it was a great deal. seems more like a $500 bike to me, but then i'm no Cuda-what's his name (sorry) down in Florida who knows Raleigh back and forward. it caught me eye though...

I saw one in superb condition go for $1450 recently - this one is in very good condition so I think 775 is reasonable -( as a keeper not a flipper that is). |
That is not a 1973, it is a MKV frame which means it is circa 1978ish like mine. The MKV frames are probably less desirable without the fastback seat stays, chrome and Cinelli sloping fork crown. I agree that the price is high for the condition, but it's not terrible. The saddle is probably not original, it should be a Brooks Professional. It's still a pretty nice looking bike, it could clean up really really well.
