Unknown Bianchi and Univega Gran Rally

Univega Gran Rally
"it has a shimano 600 group set all around. i just recently had the bike fully tuned and it now shifts alot better. Just recently put a set of brand new red tires. I spent about 85 bucks getting it tuned and putting the new tires on it. it has an origin 8 saddle which is much better then the original one. Also has some new Giant road bike pedals with toe clips and straps. The bars are wrapped with Bontrager bar tape and the tape is still fairly good"

Bianchi Unknown year, model, country of origin...
Originally looked like this:

Flat bar changed to drop bar and repainted to yellow... original shifters did not fit the drop bar so it's a single speed but "can easily be changed to multiple with the right shifters"
It now looks like this:

I am pretty sure the Bianchi is a 91, Tiawan Suntour drive, originally it went for around $375. I don't understand why he put such cheap bars and levers on it. I would not pay more than $150-175 in that shape

I'm a noob here, but it is my understanding that you are the bianchi guru around here. therefore, i will take your advice. thanks!

The Univega is a mess as well. I would pass unless it is super cheap.

The Bianchi was a hybrid with limited value, the bars and repaint make it worth even less. Who painted it and how? Painting bikes is a skill that many do not master, resulting in fragile paint that chips easily.

I would keep looking.

I'd like some better pics of the Univega. It appears to have clamp style shifters and an actual headbadge. That should make it very late 1970s and the components should be the desirable, arabesque Shimano 600EX. Frame is likely CrMo, maybe butted. A serial number would verify the year.
