Kroll Titanium Road frame - Does anyone have any information?

I just acquired a NOS Kroll titanium (3-2.5. Grade 9) road frame. The price was very reasonable and I bought it as soon as I had checked the frame as it looked sweet.

I was assuming that I would be able to pull some info off the internet, but I am drawing an absolute blank. There is no information to be found about the brand/branding. I'm an above average internet user and usually find information when others fail. But not this time...

The guy I bought it from had bought the frame as dead stock off a friend when that friend shut his bicycle shop down. And he really had no more information that that.

Does anyone here recognize the brand?

Some characteristics:
-Classic/Compact geometry with gently sloping top tube.
-Shifter cable stops welded on head tube (not down tube)
-No chainstay support bridge, instead an V-shaped inset attached to BB and chainstay tubes.
-1" head tube
-English BB threading
-Welds are very clean and tidy.
-The frame weighs in at just above 1300 grams. Its about a size 53-54.
-Braze on FD mount
-The dropouts are stamped. One simply says 20 and the other one is a small, square and framed stamp two rows ow text where I can only make out "3.5" something in the top text row

I know there is (or used to be) a maker of steel bicycles in Minneapolis called Croll (After master builder Walter Croll) but I am certain that there is no affiliation.

In style the whole bike reminds me of Van Nicholas Mistral or Euros. Which might suggest China or Taiwan

All suggestions, pointers and ideas are welcome. If someone needs better pictures to make a guess, I'll snap some more and upload
