Rossin SLX Road Bike w/ Simano Sante
Went to an estate sale that advertised Vintage Italian Racing Bike.
Found it to be a Rossin SLX with full Shimano Sante 56cm...
Frame is in great shape... 8.5/10
Components are in good shape... most noticeable was scratches on the cranks
Seller was asking $550
Any thoughts

Well, your generic Japanese bicycles with Sante were selling for about $1000 US. You could easily add on a few hundred for a Rossin with Columbus SLX. I'd say the price is a bit on the high side but not unreasonable.

Well, if you just want the frame, you could probably get $250 or more on the Sante parts on ebay. That would knock the frameset down to $300, and you can keep the bars, stem, seatpost and saddle, as they are not Sante. So if you don't mind messing around with ebay, not a bad deal at all.
An incomplete set of Sante just sold for $200 on ebay, it did not include the headset or brake calipers, which are pretty valuable parts. Last year, I was seeing Sante groups go as high as $400 on ebay. I was sitting on two groups, but did not pull the trigger. The pricing now is down quite a bit.

yes $550 might be on the high side but if it was a 59 or 60 and I was standing there it would be hard to walk away from. the Sante was between 600 and Dura Ace so just sorta think of it as a white Dura Ace equipped bike. sure looks clean
