Bianchi Campione

I started a thread in the road forum but they said I should move it here though I'm not sure if this is the right place. I am looking at buying a Bianchi Campione that appears to be late 90's-early 00's. It has all Campy components (Avanti & Mirage) and Mavic wheels. I had a bike just like this up until 3 years ago when I sold it. I really regret it and it looks like I have an opportunity to buy this one. What kind of price range should I expect to pay?

I think it is about an '88. without pics I would say $200 to 250. it is almost 13yo and I have no idea how well it was cared for.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you say it is an '88? I wish I had pics to share but I don't yet.

the name Campione was on'y used a few years the reverted back to Campione de Italia. the you said you thought the bike was a late '90s early '00s and had Mirages and Avanti. I just looked throught the catalogs for a bike matching that discription.

I think she meant '98. 1998 + 13 years = 2011

Wow, great detective work, thanks! You really think it's only worth $200 - $250? Wow, I sold mine for $600 3 years ago.

well as I stated I have not seen the bike. you sold yours 3 yrs ago in a much better market. plus it is winter and thgat makes it a buyers market as not many people are willing to sheel out alot for a bike.
