Campy record crankset question

Hi all, I came across a set of campagnolo record cranksets
on the inside of the crank is stamped "170 strada 11"
170 is for crank length, strada means road, i figured that out.

the 11 is in a box, and i'm being led to believe that it is some sort of date code.
I googled "campagnolo date code" but couldn't find any information. Does anybody know what year this particular crankset was produced in, and if there is a formula/list of date codes matched to the year of production?

thanks!

Normally, the code is a number (the last number of the year) inside a diamond (70's) or circle (80's). However, your 11 in a square is probably from a late production (probably mid-80's) warranty replacement batch. If the crankarms are fluted, it's probably circa 1984, but I don't know of any way to tell for certain. I owned a circa '85 non-fluted set with that code.

it has one shallow vertical groove on the outside face of the arms about a third of the width of the arm.

approximately how much is it worth? just the arms, no crank bolts or BB or chainring
