Kuwahara built American Flyer
I just found this cycle locally in a second hand store and grabbed it because it looked pretty cool and i thought it might make a good restoration project. However, as i do not know much about this bike, i thought i'd check around about it. Its a 26" with all suntour hardware. I wasnt able to find a place to search the serial # to find out how old it is, and was wondering if anyone could help me. Id also like to know if it is worth anything before i start disassembling it. I dont want to ruin its value if it is. As i am just starting out in this wonderful world of bikes, i appologize for my ignorance and welcome any advice, etc.
Thanx

it looks cool? those DUI bars look dangerous to me. I am not very familiar with the brand but this does not look to be one of there better examples.

Value as is, very little, maybe $25, $50 in a really strong market. Does not look like a 26 inch frame.
