1980 Peugeot
 

I don't know much about Peugeot's, other than the px10 is highly sought after. Is this worth $120? I know the simplex rear derailleurs aren't great, but I have a few suntours laying around and will probably swap it for a honor or gt. I'm just looking for something for my little brother, hoping that he gets into riding.

That fork MIGHT be bent. Hard to tell from this photo.

I thought the same thing. I already messaged him asking for another picture. Glad it wasn't just my imagination.

$120.00 seems a tad high since it needs some work but if it's your size it might be worthwhile.

UO8s ride great and yes that fork looks bent but like my sig says I ride a bike with a fork bent like that one and it feels fine to me.

The seller says he is open to negotiation in his ad and that is what I would do. $120 is way too much for a U08 that still needs a complete cleaning and overhaul with a bent fork.
I would not ride a fork like that but I find it's not hard to fix them.
Once it's squared away, you will find these do ride well just as FORDSVT points out. If you really want your bro' to get into riding though, find a set of alloy wheels for it. It will make a huge difference.

ohh I thought they were aluminum :( I'll probably look around for something else then. I thought the wear indicators on the braking surface like that only came on aluminum rims..
