Need Immediate Advice - Look KG 292 (titanium)
Made by Litespeed...
Here's the build list:
54cm LOOK Titanium Frame (1 of only 75 imported to the US in the final year of LOOK making ti frames), LOOK HSC1 Carbon Fork
SRAM 10 Speed Carbon Group
Mavic Ksyrium Wheels
Easton Carbon BullHorns, Look Carbon Seatpost, Profile Carbon Cranks
Titanium Stem
Chris King Headset
Campy Brakes
Selle Italia Gel Seat
Look Clipless Pedals
No photos - seller claims good condition, 500 miles on parts, 6000 on frame.
Any thoughts on value? It's an odd ball fo' sure!

He didn't know it was Litespeed...and when I suggested it likely was, he argued. I checked...it's Litespeed.

I would just do a quick search on ebay completed items of the parts. Several Litespeed frames sell every day. I think the other parts have high volume as well (certainly the wheelset and the SRAM stuff). Then my estimate would be about 50% of the average good volume completed auction of the parts, maybe 75% max. The whole will have less value than a part out. Don't bother with value on incidentals (tires, etc).

Bill - you are always very helpful, accurate and insightful. Thank you. I think it MIGHT have more value than a standard Litespeed, if only for scarcity. I think you might be right - the way to make money on this might be to part out, and that's a pain in the rump.

Look brand is the wild card. And here is a huge variance in what Litespeed Ti frame sets are going for right now. To minimize risk, I would assume Litespeed type price, and hope for a Look premium. I always wonder if people will pay a premium (or a discount) for rebranded bikes. For instance, I have a Merlin built Quintana Roo. So does it have the value of a Merlin? Or maybe the Merlin crowd wants the Merlin brand? I bought right, so it does not matter (but it will affect the financial outcome). On higher end bikes, buyers have their desired group, so unless your particular group is what they are looking for, they will discount your components to close to zero.... Which means part out to maximize value.

So true - I'm guessing $500 minimum on the Litespeed. and another 600 minumum on parts...less about 15% fees.
= about 900, which is what I'm in at...seems like a lot to maybe make $400.
Good price for a keeper, but I have a TK Merlin...don't need a Litespeed.

I had a Litespeed Tuscany two summers ago. Fit was good, but the overall ride did very little for me.
Made a few bucks on it though.

I ended up buying it...I don't think I stole it, but I think it's an interesting bike and worth a ride or two. if it's not my thing, it moves on. It's lighter than my Merlin for SURE.
It looks chromed! Decals are in rough shape, DIRTY, needs new cables/housings...but everything else checked out. Calipers were weird for the rest of the bike - mirage front caliper and chrous rear.
